Gipsy Tonic is a modern gypsy jazz quartet from Lausanne, Switzerland.

Started in 2016 playing the music of Django, we evolved through swing and the bop eras to find our own sound and deliver a unique atmosphere. ​We suggest a unique fusion between gypsy jazz and acoustic hardbop with an uncommon gathering: gypsy guitars, clarinet and electric bass.

Keeping the love for the music of Django Reinhardt and his pairs, we aim to respect the traditions while blending with the variations of the great hard bop musicians into our music. ​We pay tribute to great artists like Coltrane, Lee Morgan and Django with a sound that talks to both gypsy jazz lovers and a larger jazz audience.

With Antony Doukhan on the lead guitar, Bastien Montal on the bass, Cristobal Salvador on the clarinet and Sacha Toufani on the rhythm guitar, Gipsy Tonic is ready to deliver a special gypsy hard bop set with magical arrangements!
